In the words of her students:

"The world would be a better place if there were more April Brassards. I honestly think that your consistently positive demeanor and how it made my days better has encouraged me to be more outwardly positive to make the same impact on the moods of others that you had on mine! Thank you for facilitating such an amazing class this semester! The university is obviously very lucky to have you, and I hope you stay with Georgetown."

"I credit my acceptance into acting school to her! She approaches teaching with deep kindness and values both the technique and the heart and soul of artistry."

"You truly make learning, fun, rewarding, and relevant to the world! I don’t think any other professor would be able to do the same. Your passion for this art speaks to all of us. I’m so grateful to learn from the best!"

"Thank you, April, for being the kindest person ever and willing to go above and beyond with everything! Everything you shared with me and the extensive time you took to personalize everything made the class even more worth it."
