in the words of her students...

"Acting for the Camera is my favorite class! I hope April will be able to teach this course again because she is such a knowledgeable and wonderful professor."

"April's workshop taught me so much about receiving feedback, editing, and standing up for my work, and it gave me a newfound sense of confidence as a writer."

"I will forever be grateful for what your class has given me."

"Your class was my favorite this semester, and I learned a great deal and feel more confident about approaching film in the future."

"I never saw myself as a playwright, however, thanks to you, that sentiment has changed, and opened up a whole new path I never knew was available to me."

"It's hard to find professors that care and show their students that their time and energy are appreciated and valuable, but there is no doubt in my mind that you do."
